Hello and welcome!

I'm Papa Derrick, author of The Amazing Julius: A Series of Adventures.

Like many children, I grew up believing that almost anything could become an adventure.

A creek could become a pirate kingdom.
A basement could become a portal to another world.
A mystery could be hiding in your own backyard.

And sometimes, the most memorable adventures happen in ordinary moments of everyday life.

As I grew older, I realized something important:

Children need adventure.
Children need to use their imaginations.
Children need stories that encourage curiosity, kindness, problem-solving, courage, and creativity.

That's why I was inspired to create The Amazing Julius series.

Julius isn't a superhero.
He doesn't have magical powers.
He's simply a young boy who approaches the world with curiosity, determination, and a desire for learning.

Through his adventures, readers discover that adventure is found everywhere when you're willing to look for it.

My hope is that these books do more than entertain. I hope they encourage children to read, imagine, ask questions, explore new ideas, and spend meaningful time with the people who care about them.
